What does this commercial mean?

I'm genuinely confused. Some kind of nonsense about the pretend "War on Christmas", but I really don't understand the point this ad is trying to make. Not to mention, it's a bit disturbing. Can someone with a more twisted sense of logic explain it to me? The parts I'm really confused about are the scratches on her face and the demonic scream at the end.

I think the scratches are due to a recent attack from the Christmas tree, trying to avenge the seasonal slaughter of so many of its kin. The scream is simply the sound that trees make when they fall and no one's around to hear them.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
