What does your macbook retina 15's sound like at high rpms.. like 5000+ ? Can anyone play me a sound clip? The noise mine is producing is really annoying and I'm wondering if others have the noise as mine..

I can try to record it later on so you can hear mine. The sound doesn't bother me though, it's still at a decent noise level at 5000-ish rpm. like a constant "wooosh" or something. :p

Damn, I've never had my RPM that high on my rMBP.

Anyway, it sounds like "whooooooooshhhhhhhhh".
Just like air rushing through the chassis. I can't separate motor-noise from it, it's just a whooshing noise, as of a strong wind blowing through a forest on a blustery Autumn's day.

It's sounds exactly like being inside an airbus a320 climbing up thru 15,000 feet.
