Dr. Dre Beats are horrible. Bose are decent depending of the type. Check out Sennheiser, Shure, Final Audio Design & Grado if you want awesome sounding headphones.

I'm a fan of my q-jays. They're incredibly accurate. The only problem is with a iphone you'll need an amp if you want to hear any bass. I've ordered a fiio E5 amp to go with it.

Thanks for the tip, but yeah I have my a focal set up at home for some B grade audiophile stuff..like a 40K set up.. I am not too fussed about earphones.. I like these bcoz of the design and the cable.. flat.. as long as they are not worse off than stock and i dont pay retail then its good.. haha not gonna pay $150 for those.. thats for sure.
 
Look at the A Jays 4 from Jays. They use flat cables too and have the remote for the iphone too
