What else do I need to order?

Hello all,
I'm preparing to order a White Macbook and I'd like to know what things I need to order in addition to the Macbook. I know that I have to buy Applecare but what else? I'm new to mac or any laptop for that matter. I work at a University so I can get software for a reduced price but don't know what I'll need to be able to use the machine when it gets here. I use PC's for work so that's what I'm familiar with at the moment.

I plan to buy a router & external monitor soon also.

There is not much else you need to start with. However if you are planning to do some video editing, running virual machines or any other memory intensive work, consider adding some more RAM(Don't buy from Apple).

Hmm, well you got the external monitor down already, so might I suggest an external mouse/keyboard? And also, what about a case to keep your new precious lookin' pretty?
