Once you get your new iPhone 4 what will everyone do with their old iPhones? Besides selling them....because thats what prolly most of you will do? I could be wrong! I am keeping mine for a backup or for running (etc.)

Just sold my cracked in the back 8 gb 3G for $200 on craigslist this week. Basically I get a free upgrade now :)

I have a 16GB White 3GS but it has some hairline carcks on the back which is common for the White.

Do you think if I can list this as a PRO and not a con since you can pretty much get a new one from Apple? Right? No?

I like to keep them. I still have almost every phone I have ever had.

In fact, I recently found the original iPhone, plugged it in, and had a blast reminiscing!! :D

Probably just keep mine in my car for music. So I don't have to plug and unplug my 4 every time I get into it.

I also have my old phones. But my 3G has a cracked screen and my 2G is water damaged :(

Thank you!! Everyone always thinks I am crazy. Even though my are in great condition (very few marks on the original and basically nothing on the 3G), I like to keep them. It is fun going back and looking at them.

Can you imagine looking/showing people years from now?

Smeone offered me a trade
BB 9700 for my 3G 8g
Thinking about it
Gonna use it as a work phone

how does the best buy trade in work?

Go to their website and go to services. Then go to trade-in. (You can also do it in the store.) On the website, you can use the estimator to see how much you would get first. An original iPhone 8GB in good condition can get you $81.00.

Just sold my 3GS 32GB on Craigslist today for $450. I'll be on an old Nokia flip phone for two weeks, but I'll have the 4 covered and then some.

Hehe, I probably belong on that show hoarders. But, yea, I like to keep em too. Just can't get rid of them. I actually have a few others as well. But wish I still had an old Nokia phone, now that would be fun to play around with.

Are you in or out of warranty? Mine has the same cracks and I'm out of warranty..

I'll just be keeping my trusty 2G at home. I've sold my white 16GB 3G and white 32GB 3GS, planning to buy a white 32GB 4 now! :D

3G goes to my wife. More than enough phone for her, and she'll love it more for the iPod than anything else!

After selling my first gen and regretting it, I'll be keeping my 3GS(and subsequent models), for nostalgia purposes, and to remind me of how far the iPhone has progressed over the generations.

I'm giving my 3G to my girlfriend. She isn't going to use it as a phone though she just wants to use it as an ipod touch.
