I have an ipod touch, and I want to set up an email to use with the mail app. I want to be able to access my email on the computer and ipod, and when I delete email from my ipod, it gets deleted from my inbox. For example, I check my email on my ipod, and they are all there on my yahoo inbox on the computer, and on my ipod, when I delete it from my ipod it gets deleted from my yahoo inbox. I know it sounds somewhat confusing, but should I use hotmail or yahoo for this?

Go under settings...your email account....advance settings and change "Delete from server" to "Never"

I suggest gmail of which you have 2 options
1. if you set it up yourself (always imap) when you delete something in your inbox it goes in 'All Mail' and doesn't appear in your inbox again. (to delete forever just move it to bin)
or
2. set it up by pressing the gmail button in add account where when you delete something from an inbox it gets put in bin where it is deleted forever in 30 days.

my opinion is also googles 'why delete with ever growing storage'
