Just curious to know seeing as there are quite a few people who have chosen to engrave their ipads. I've never had my apple stuff engraved before. :)

I bought my first iPad 2 at best buy, but I'm gonna get another one. Im gonna order this one from apple. It's only fitting that i get "Flummoxed" engraved on it.

I thought it might help if it got stolen or something, but ya it would be harder to sell unless it was in a case.

unless you find someone with the same name in the market for a used iPad.:D

Or if he/she is willing to change their name.

I thought about having my iPad engraved but decided to put my contact information on the lock screen wallpaper. I chose a nice patterned background and put my address, telephone number and email address on it.

For a bit of safety I used my post office box number, not my street address.

If I loose my iPad or have it stolen no one can get into it without knowing my password but they can see my contact information if they wish to return it.

I hope to never get any benefit from this. :D

I got my husband and I's anniversary date engraved on it (10/10/10) but I just had it (101010) because it looked less cheesy and like binary :p

It's also fitting that the iPad is a little like the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and you've got 42 in binary on the back.
