Since I got my first iPod mini way back, I've always used the treble boost equalizer. The music just sounds so much more clear/crisp with it, no matter what iPod from the mini until now that I've used. Once you go to it you'll never go back to no EQ, with it off the iPod just sounds fuzzy.

How about you?

Just loaded up a couple of songs on my mini to test out treble booster. Everything sounds a lot less 'muddy', extremely crisp and clear as you said, I'm just not sure if I like the result, a lot of the music I listen to is quite heavy, I tend to miss the more gritty quality of the sound when going without an EQ. I don't know, maybe I just need time to adjust, it does make a lot of other genres sound very nice, though.
