What equipment do I need to display my MacBook on my tv

I have a late 2008 unibody MacBook and I was wondering what type of equipment I would need to get in order to use my tv as a display for it.

Then you should use HDMI. What audio inputs does it have? If you want audio through HDMI, then you need this.If you want audio via other cable, then you need this for video and for audio this though it depends on the inputs of your TV
