In an article I read they added swipe gestures to Messages, Mail and other stock apps. I did tons of searching and couldn't find any details regarding this. Does anyone know how they work?

There is a new button you can press and then slide different directions for different functions, like rapid voice message, quick photo, etc. This is not new to this event, it was unveiled at WWDC and is part of iOS 8.

Thats more of an app-specific item that is basically a feature in the Messages app only.

Is it going to be anything like SwipeNav
They are just a couple of specific actions only in the Messages app to allow for a quicker way to record a voice message or take a picture/video as I tecall.
