what exactly is t-zones? (USA)

t-zones is a bit confusing to me. does it allow for unlimited data on the iphone?

how is it different than the $19.99 data plan that t-mobile offers?


I am ending my contract with att and looking to switch over to t-mobile within the next couple of days.

I am on a super budget as far as cell phone plans go, and i'd be stoked if you guys can share with me your plan setups...I am sure it will help me make a better decision
 
T Zones is T Mobiles $5.99 Plan that allows you to access limited web services. If you proxy hack your iPhone you can get unlimited data and internet with T Zones plan. The only thing you cant do is access YouTube on EDGE. I had my phone proxy hacked for nearly 4 months and it works fine.
 
how do u "proxy hack" it, i just installed the package tzones in installer thje describ said for use with tmobiles tzone plan etc is that it
 
T-zones is port 80 + email (I forget the port exactly)

The 19.99 internet is everything + T-Mobile Hotspots.

does it operate on the edge network? can i use apps such as apollo im over the edge network with it?

i don't think that is correct, i have been using the hack t-zone for 2 months now and everything works just as wifi expect for it being slow, i have read on other forums that it only works on bookmarked youtube but my works on search, most viewed as well as featured, on Apollo it works on all expect my msn which i have problems connecting even on wifi. One thing i encountered from the begining was that when i subscribed to the $5.99 t-zone it didn't work on the iphone and i kept getting the you are restrict crap so i took the sim out of the iphone and put it into my tmobile razr then sign onto t-zone, when it sign me on i browser for about 5 mins turn off the phone, put the sim back and the iphone and everything worked like magic. i don't know about people that had T-Zone before the iphone but i never had that until i bought my iphone, mind you i have been with t mobile for almost 2years.
