Im still on Watch 4 LTE. For me, it covers and fits my needs. A watch that could lease on LTE w/o any iPhone for 48h would make me switch. Currently I’m full into digital absents and live to go out only w/ my watch on my whrist but still able to receive calls.

I'd like the features of the ultra (36 hour non-LTE battery life, brighter screen, sapphire crystal) in a smaller form factor watch; ideally 41mm, but even 45mm would do.

Im' on a series 3. Honestly, unless there's a new sensor that actually works (think blood sugar monitoring), I can't imagine a reason to upgrade.

Two things:
1) Constant heart rate monitoring.... no more of this once every 10 minutes business.
2) Longer battery life without the device getting any bigger. I mean a fitbit can go 5 days between charge and the heart rate monitor is constantly on with those.

You mean upgrade from an AW, right? Yes, then I would recommend a Garmin. I'm wearing the Epix now, but any model will run circles around Apple. If you're buying the sizzle, you're buying Apple. If you're buying the steak, order the Garmin.

Adding a “2” or “2023” or “2nd Generation” after the “Ultra” would get me to upgrade instantly.

A larger screen but less clunky Ultra. I love black so hope the have a Ti DLC coated version instead of just stainless or aluminum. I am afraid they won’t.

For budgetary reasons, it's unlikely I'll upgrade this year. I've been upgrading every other year to take maximum advantage of Apple's trade-in plan.

But the feature I most want is body temperature on demand. Blood pressure readings would also be nice. And while I don't need it, I know people who have been waiting for glucose readings.

I loved the brighter screen and raised lips on the Ultra when I tried it, so would love to have that form factor come to the regular watch, or if there was a smaller size Ultra.

Nothing. The Apple Watch is expected to get a significant redesign for its 10th anniversary next year, and whatever new features the Series 9 will have this year the Series 10 (or X?) will probably have them as well.

I’m still on the Series 4 waiting for some compelling reason to upgrade. The Ultra is tempting but a bit bulky for me. Satellite connectivity in a Watch might just be geeky enough to get me to upgrade. If I could call for help via satellite then watch The Jetsons on my Watch while waiting for help then please take my money. 🤓🤭

I have a S6 and really like it so there would have to be a new sensor, ideally, blood pressure.

Yes, but I would only want a blood pressure monitor on my smartwatch if it were FDA approved and at least as accurate as a traditional inflatable wrist-worn monitor. (which are themselves less accurate than the upper arm cuff type)

- Ability to download music WITHOUT USING A DAMN PHONE
- Better battery life
- Quicker boot time.

Why the heck ARE they so slow to boot, anyway? Much longer than my phones or iPads.
