When this new phone is announced, of the following features (guaranteed features as well as features we HOPE will exist), which would you like to see most? In other words, if there is a feature that will GUARANTEE that you will buy the phone, which feature would it be?

I don't think a thread like this exists, at least not in poll form.

We all know we are getting a better camera, faster processor...but I'd like for people to choose based on what they actually want/need in a phone. Don't choose new body because you KNOW they are going to do a faster processor, for example.

New Body Design?
Faster Processor?
Better Camera/Video?
Bigger Screen?
Assistant?

I'm sure a new body, bigger screen will be the big ones...I'm just curious as to what the difference in numbers actually is for us iPhoneologists.

I chose bigger screen. After playing with the GS2, it's just something I'm going to HAVE to have in order to go for it, I think.

New body design. None of the other features matter if the phone sport the same awful form-factor of the iPhone 4.

At minimum, the new body design must:

1. Fix the antenna and signal issues

2. Use a more durable material than fragile glass for the phone

3. Have a bezel of some sort that protects the screen glass from direct edge impacts that shatter the glass

4. Be more comfortable and less slippery to hold

Otherwise, I'm skipping this upgrade and possibly switching to another OS.

Where's the 4G/LTE option? I'd be totally happy if they used the same form factor/design as the iPhone 4 with a 4G/LTE radio.

And for those that say it eats battery life...you can turn on/off 4G when you need to. :D

I hope for a bigger screen and a redesign, myself. And like you, if they don't give me that, then I'll probably get the Galaxy S2 until a proper iPhone upgrade comes out.

DAMN!!! I forgot quite a few things, apparently. I guess I was focusing on the main things I've been reading about.

Bingo! I'll be at ATT on sunday to pick one up and play with for 30days while apple announces they've caught up to 2010. Should they make it to 2011, then I'll possibly put down the S2.

err what if you want multiple of these?

Anyway, i picked a new form factor, but i would want a new form factor along with a bigger screen.

Please

Automatic number redial when getting engaged tone and I would be happy.
And please dont tell me its network linked as I will be gutted if this feature is already there for some:(

After using the Galaxy S2, I look most forward to the faster processor. This extra speed make the over all GUI much nicer to use. Bigger screen would be nice but not too much bigger.

Also how about a notification light! For those who do not want, a way of turning it off!

I chose better camera because if it goes up to 8 it can replace my point and shoot and I can take that camping with me instead and save some room in my backpack, but I still would love to see a 4 inch screen and a faster processor.

my problem with phone cameras is that the higher resolution they get, the more memory each image takes up. the sad part is that most people wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a 5 and 8 megapixel shot, especially on a freaking smart phone screen.

of all the things that this phone is going to have, a better camera and better video are the things that actual hurt the phone, in that the more of those 8 megapixel shots and 1080p video you take, the less room you're going to have for apps and anything else that can be stored on the device.

A quiet forum...this is getting ridiculous.

I believe you're looking for this forum then:

Can people stop whining about these threads?

WTF do you people care if there are a lot of threads about the new iPhone?

This happens every year and every year people complain about the influx of threads...
