What features are/aren't working on iOS 5

i loaded iOS5, im having trouble discerning whether some of the features are supposed to be working but arent..for example, everytime i try to set up imessages, it says "unable to verify email because it is already in use" ..is this normal?

also, when i try to set up icloud, it says that an email has been dispatched to verify..but i never got an email..im guessing icloud isnt up and running for devs yet..but i want to make sure
