So I know we have a pretty good idea what Safari 4 should be like, since alpha copies are out there. But what features would you like to see added in before the release, or possibly in v. 5+?

Personally, I'd love if Safari could read .doc files, similarly to how it reads PDFs.

When you bookmark something there's little icons on the bookmark bar. Tells you the weather condition so I don't have to look at dashboard all the time.

A friggen button on the right side of the title-bar to hide the toolbar just like EVERY OTHER APP in OS X!!

Just did a quick rundown of my dock...iTunes and iCal don't have one either. But at least there's a keyboard shortcut for it (cmd-|). Although I can't imagine wanting to hide the toolbar in a web browser.

By the way, is there a way to type a cmd symbol?

Yes, type:

Code:
& # 8 9 8 4 ;
without spaces.

It will then become these: ⌘ ⌘ ⌘

If they make a SHORTCUT to hide the toolbar, they should really put a button too.

make new windows always open in a tab like that Terminal command for Safari does but have an option to open the tab in the foreground like Saft/Glim does which is pretty much the only thing i use a Safari plug-in for.
