I hope this is the right place.
I had recorded some VHS tapes into EyeTV and now I'm wanting to export them to do some editing in iMovie. I'm not sure what is the best format to use though. I had done this last back in 2009 or so and remember that I used the wrong formats a few times.
When looking online, I've seen some say iMovie '09 is best, but I'm using iMovie '11. While I'm sure that format will work, is there a better one to use?
Also, any other suggestions in doing this? These are old family reunions I want to burn to DVD and give out to family members. I have about 2.5 hours worth on here, over 3 videos. I THOUGHT I should have more, so I'll have to check what tapes I have.
I was also thinking of putting pictures into slide shows on the DVDs.
