On the back of my 'supposed' powermac g3 B/W, it says "Macintosh Server g3", DOES THIS MEAN MY MAC IS A SERVER?!!??!?:eek:
 
It means your Mac was a server at some point. This is nothing to worry about - it dates from the time before Apple created the XServe, and used modified tower Macs as their servers.

I think it's quite cool to own a Macintosh Server G3! Much rarer than the "normal" G3 B&W.

Did you by any chance get the original CD's?
ASIP or maybe even Mac OS X Server 1.x??? :cool:
 
Just out of curiosity, what does B&W stand for in this context? It's obviously not black and white.
