I am VERY excited to finally be able to upgrade to 4.3.1 AND keep my unlock for T-Mobile. Since I have been stuck at 4.0 because the previous owner didnt save the SHSH blobs, it is especially welcoming. Anyway, is there a guide that I am okay to follow when upgrading and jailbreaking my iPhone 4? I am quite nervous about this whole process since if I foul something up I will be stuck with an iPhone 4 that will be useless to me. :)

Thanks as always. You all are great.

Its for the unlock? It mentions it at the end that one can follow the supplied link but the top says "How to Update Your iPhone 4 Without Upgrading the Baseband (Mac) [4.3.1]"

:)

I mean that the guide you linked only helps preserve the unlock, but you will be in an unjailbroken state.

It is my understanding that you will preserve your unlock with that guide.

Ohh, I see! Good call. I thought this also jailbroke it too. Ugh. I am so anxious for this! :D

Hey Applejuiced,

With the guide above, would that be the first guide/first step I follow and then (whenever it hits iClarified), use a PwnageTool guide?

With pwnage tool you will not need to use that guide to maintain your baseband.
Pwnage will create a custom JB ipsw that you can restore to and keep your baseband untouched.
Just relax and sit back and wait for now that's all.
Unless you want to go to official 4.3.1 using that guide to preserve your baseband.

Thanks buddy. I will take your advice and chill for a bit :)
