What happened to 17" 3.06GHz MBP?

I remember Apple released the PowerBook line with 12-inch and 17-inch models in 2003 and left the 15-inch TiBook unchange for 10 months. The table turned this time.

Since when has a 3.06 ghz CPU been guaranteed for the 17"? You have to remember that this site is called Mac Rumors so this rumor (which I don't remember hearing) doesn't have to be true, and everything here should be taken with a grain of salt.
