So my Magsafe connector wire is beginning to fray just below the magsafe and it isn't charging my MacBook Pro anymore. I'm covered under an AppleCare protection plan i bought last summer and the Apple's support site confirms it. But when i click to view my options for repair all it gives me are apple stores and apple certified repair shops. Has apple closed their in-house repair devision? You know, where you mail in your defective part and they send you back a new/repaired one? I've used this service MANY times before and i've always been satisfied. How come I can't seem to find it anymore? Can someone please tell me how to request repair service?
