What Happened to Finder in 13.4?

I'm unable to add Pictures to the Sidebar. Box is checked, but it does not show up. Any suggestions?

works here (i just tried it). try unchecking/rechecking it. and have you rebooted? might help...

Delete finder plist. I do not have notes where it is now, but my recollection is that plists are all in one place in your Library folder (hidden normally) in your home folder. If this plist is corrupted, things are behaving this weird way.

edit:
delete this: your home folder/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist
restart Finder or computer (that will create new default plist) and see if that fixed it.

Have you tried dragging the Pictures folder into the sidebar?

remurray, thanks for this tip. I dragged it to Favorites and it seems to be the solution. If anything changes I'll report back.
