What happened to GET INFO?!

The get info feature used to show the # of items in a given folder in OS9. What happened to that in Tiger? I transfer large amounts of data and # of items helps me confirm that all files have been copied. Is there an option I am not seeing?

It says number of 'items' at the bottom of each Finder window. Is this any help?

Turning on "show item info" will also show you how many items are in a given folder

There's a finder option to show the number of items in a folder along with its name.

They removed that feature in Tiger.
I have resorted to using CalculateSizeCM. Its a contextual plugin, but it might suit you for your needs.
