wasn't that announced at macworld or WWDC? the ability to keep apps open and move in between apps? i also thought that webpages wouldn't reload if you left safari then re-opened it? am i making this all up or was this announced at some point?

Not sure on the Safari point, but they never said anything about keeping apps open and moving between them.

Were you watching the Pre announcement instead? :D
 
Yep, you are pretty much just making this stuff up :) Apple doesn't presently want to do multitasking as they say it just kills the battery life too much.
 
crap, so i just googled it and it seems this was a rumor for a while, and still is, but nowhere was it confirmed or even mentioned by apple. oh well...
