I just realized that you can't look at lyrics on the 'touch. Why not??

Yeah it's really dissapointing! I was often looking at the lyrics on my Ipod 5G. And now you can't!? Isn't the touch come with more features??

Can someone confirm if they can see the lyrics on the ipod classic?

its not only the touch.. its the same on my 3G nano too (and i assume the classic).

i dont know why this feature has been axed. hmmm...

That didn't sound right, so I looked it up and found this on AppleInsider:

The new nano and the classic support Lyrics. Clicking center button now cycles through Volume, Scrubber, Ratings, a new Shuffle Mode, and then full screen lyrics (all other options just update the bootom of the screen). Unfortunately Artwork has been dropped from the cycle so you can't see the album artwork full-screen.

You did try that, right?

Read it carefully.
its talking about the nano and the classic centre button.

The new Nano (and I presume the Classic) still have lyrics.

But the iPhone and the Touch do not. I really hope this comes in a future update. It's a pretty basic iPod feature, as opposed to some of our other requests (Mail, Notes, etc.)

They should also add the ability to name On-The-Go playlists, so they are saved and then synced as a regular playlist. Bonus points would be if you could edit all playlists, but that could come later.

If you already knew that he wasn't going on about the touch then why did you say this.

I ment to say how do you do it on the iPod Touch because it dosent have a center button but I made a typo as im typing in 4 things at the same time and its hard to concentrate like that, im not a computer/robot!
