Fired up iTunes this morning and all my Beatles tracks have lost their album information and iTunes can't find most of the tracks. See pic. WTF? Help greatly appreciated.

Are they stored somewhere on an external drive that may have gotten disconnected?

Nope. All stored on local drive. Rest of library is fine. Only affects about 75% of my Beatles songs.

Check the folders, are they actually there? If they are, check one in quicklook to see if plays.

You may have to rebuild your library ... Instructions here.

They are there. If I manually locate the track in the appropriate album folder, the album and artwork reappear.

You could do that instead of rebuilding the library, but it will be awful time consuming.

Definitely don't want to do this manually especially given duplicate songs from albums like Love.

Sounds like a serious problem. Tried to fix someone with the same problem over phone last night but cannot figure it out, except it started happening for this person a month ago.

I suggested the person go to apple store to have it checked out.
