I've downloaded an app from the appstore and tried to sync with my iPod Touch 2nd gen today. But on iTunes, upon syncing, it says installing codebreaker- what does that mean?

I did not jailbreak the iPod and I don't have an app called codebreaker.

Is that some sort of virus or what.

Codebreaker. If you don't have it on either the computer or on one of the pages on the iPod itself, there's no reason it should be trying to sync it. You have checked in the Applications tab and inside of ~/Music/iTunes/Mobile Applications?

I've never came across with this app. And it's not in my library at all. took quite a while to sync "that" in event thought I've no idea what that is.

If it is not interfering with anything you cold probably leave it. If it bothers you too much than you could restore.
