So a couple days ago when I went to charge my 2011 MacBook pro, I noticed that the MagSafe port looked a little deformed. I honestly cannot remember a time I jammed the MagSafe connector in so hard that it would do something like this, as I am usually gentle when handling my MBP. Does anyone know what this is? Is it a blown pin? I have not had any issues with charging the MBP so far, but I don't want to just disregard this deformation. What should I do?

Looks like a short/meltdown, happened to a friend's MBP, I'd take it in, you may have to have the logicboard replaced.

Could be a faulty power adapter or a faulty power circuit, either way, I'd make use the 1 year warranty, don't you think?
