Dopeyman said:Nope... nothing has worked..... and now, I deleted the whole application... now I don't have a sharing icon in my system prefs...
can someone with an intel iMac upload their lil app to me? TIA!!
Nermal said:It would appear that your SharingPref.prefPane has somehow been replaced with a PowerPC version, possibly by a "rogue" installer. I'm not at home at the moment so I can't send you the correct file, but try extracting the file from your DVD or the latest updater, as mentioned above.

Since it was a new machine I hadn't transferred my info over yet I just reinstalled and waited until Remote Desktop 3 which is a universal binary and works fine.
Did you install Remote Desktop 2.x by any chance?
Dopeyman said:Now that I think about it, I did install a version of RD.. not sure which, and I'm not at home right now to check.....
Still haven't gotten an intel version, but I'm sure I will soon...![]()
