What happened to "Orbit" ?

Remember that app that Steve demoed with Tiger at WWDC some time back called Orbit? Whatever happened to it? We never heard anything of it again It looked pretty cool.

From what i found while googling it looks like its a 3rd party app.

It got renamed to Freefall and is available here.

Orbit is the application and freefall is the screensaver. It hasn't gotten much attention because it costs a lot of $.

I thought it was going to be part of Tiger or something?
