What happened to the G5 or G4 speed upgrades?

I was really looking forward to see the new line of cpus in store for apple. I was impressed to see the new imac. I just want to know when or if g5 will come out and will the g4 get speed upgrades?

Wait 'till the next MW, Apple can't just release all their new products at one time, they have to keep the storm rolling, I suspect either 1gh+ G4s, or new G5s, but that is a bit TOO optimistic...
