Folks, I need some help.
I tried to Boot Camp and install Windows 7.
After BootCamp Assistant made the partition, I attempted the installation.
"No Bootable Device......" came on the screen. after many unsucessful attempts to correct this problem, I gave up on the "Windows Experience".
So I purchased a new HD, and thought I'd just load Snow Leopard. Wrong!
I'm still getting the same message.
If you know what to do, please let me know.
Two days ago I had a working MacBook, now I've got a MacBrick.

Did you format the new HDD? Did you clone from your old one to the new one? We need more details.

Oh, no I didn't format.
Its been a while (obviously) since I replaced a HD in a Macbook.
So, How can I format it without a working computer?
Also, I put an old drive that was making noise, but still working, in the computer.
Still couldn't locate a bootable drive.
Macbook is 1st gen Intel, 2 GB RAM, HD is WD Blue Scorpio 320 Gig @ 5400 RPM

Start up from the install disk and run disk utility. Then you can do your formatting.

Brop52,
Tried to start from install disk, still saying no bootable device.
This is frustrating. Is this thing still trying to install Windows?
