iPod touch what happens after restore?

I'm thinking of restoring my jailbroken 1.1.4 to a normal 1.1.4 before d/l the 2.0 firmware and I don't want to lose my notes.. If I restore it will I be able to get them back? I can't find an option that says anything about syncing notes..
Also I don't want to lose my mail settings.. any help there?

it will be fine. just sync it right before you restore. every time you sync it makes a backup your your settings and everything. after you restore, sync again and it will ask you if you want to restore the back up or set it up as a new ipod. just select restore back up of (w/e the backup is called). i've done this about 4 times before, it will be fine.
