What happens if I change 2 Macs Hard drives with different OS?

Lets say MacMini A has Snow Leopard and MacMini 2 has Lion. Now I swap both hard drives and turn on the Macs. What happens?
 
As long as Mac Mini B is a 2010 or older, it'll work. And as long as Mac Mini A is a C2D or newer, it'll work.
