What happens to Apple Care?

I have the S4, Space Gray aluminum, but I really wanted a Stainless, Space Black, but they were impossible to find. If I find one within my 14 day return window, what happens to the Apple Care that I purchased along with the aluminum watch, should I return it? Anyone know for sure without fighting the crowds at the Apple Store?

Applecare is attached to the watch.
IF AppleCare is purchased at the same time the AppleCare is automatically cancelled.
If purchased separately you have to call 1800MYAPPLE to cancel it and they will refund the unused portion
