What happens to current Text Messaging Plan after upgrade?

I currently pay 30 for the current iPhone data + 1500 Text.
So... when i upgrade to 3G will that 1500 text carry over to new plan for will it be void and sign up with the new texting plan?

I think you will pay $45 with the new phone. $30 for the data. $15 for the txt messages. I'm sure someone will correct me quickly if I'm wrong. Whatever the case, it is the new $30 plus whatever the 1500 costs...10 or 15.
