What happens to iLife when I upgrade to Leopard?

Hey,

I have iLife 06 at the moment. Would I need to back it up before I upgrade to Leopard? Or would it survive the installation?

Even better... would it upgrade to iLife 08?

if you erase and install, you'll lose your ilife, needing your old ilife disk or system disks to restore your copy. upgrading or archiving and installing will keep ilife intact.
