Maybe they should just go te way of the Macbooks. like, mine is a mid 2009 macbook pro. not a MBP 4 or 5 or whatever.

Since the actual name isn't "The New iPad", it's the new "iPad"; they will call it, the new "iPad".

same that happens when they release a new macbook, imac, ipod nano, etc. they just call it by it's name(in this case) the iPad.

It's a smart move for apple to do this, I cant wait till they drop the number on the iPhones

Yeah but next year I might want an old new iPad
