What happens with iCloud Sync after a Time Machine restore?

Hello!

I need to restore my system from a 2 weeks old time machine backup. In the mean time I changed lots of files in my Desktop and Documents which sync via iCloud.

So what will happen to my iCloud synced folders after I do the restore? Will the local files be updated based on iCloud? Will the iCloud files be updated based on the old local files? Or will I have duplicate files in both my iCloud and local drive?

Can't find any documentation about this, please help.
