I've had good luck with drives from both companies - though went with WD Scorpio Blue 1TB (5400 not 5200) for my latest upgrade after reading good reviews.

The Seagate Momentus XT 750GB is one sweet drive though - and if it came in a 1TB model I'd be on it in a minute. It's an upsell from what you're looking at spending, but just in case...

You're still getting a lot for your money either way, and the reviews of both on NewEgg are very good - 4 eggs.

If it were me, I might go for the Samsung - for both the extra space and lower cost - and use the difference in price to buy an external case so I could use my existing drive with my new gear.

(Makes it easy if you're going to clone your existing drive, too)
