What has happened to my external hardrive?

I haven't used it in like 2 months. I thought my computer wasn't detecting it anymore but I just realized it was plugged out. Although it has been turned on this whole time, the lights have been flashing. so I just plugged it back in and none of my files are showing up, and the "Media" is just a folder.

Are my files gone? It also won't let me place anything in it. it says this when I try:

Any help would be much appreciated. I don't have that much knowledge of all this stuff. Thanks a lot.

they will be on there somewhere.... about 190GB used up. Go to disk utility and make sure all the volumes are mounted (right click/ctrl+click > mount)
