I thought of this thread idea last night, while watching a movie on my Powerbook. I lifted it up in the dark; lo and behold I espied a green glow from the bottom. It turns out that the battery on the bottom has LEDs that light up while charging, not just the ring around the adaptor!
I'm sure this isn't earth-shaking news to anyone, but I was genuinely surprised. You can also push the button next to the LEDs to get a measure of the battery charge. I've never used this, since I just check the indicator in the menu bar. But, handy I guess when it's closed up.
Anyways, what have you discovered about your Mac lately? I'm hoping to learn something else about the thing I spend more time in front of than just about any other.
Cheers!
