i'm taking omega 3 fish oil capsules -- for my heart, hypertension, and severe dry eyes

and melatonin tabs-- for my whacked biological clock. i can't sleep when i need to.

how about you guys? :D

I mainline green tea, and I can't get out of bed without at least a line of omega 3 fatty acids. Some nights I'm banging 3 gram rocks of vitamin D.

But don't do supplements if you can't handle them socially.

multi
vit-e
vit-d & calcium
Piracetam

I usually only take the piracetam over the winter, it helps with my circulation as I have raynaud's syndrome. My skin is just nicer if I pop a vit-e cap every now and then, I don't drink milk hence the vit d/calcium and I'll have a multi every now and then if I feel deficient.

I have a ton of SNS Piracetam that I sometimes take with Focus XT. The prob,em is piracetam can make me smell musty.

Never taken a health supplement in my life. Health supplements are for girls.

That's a very ignorant thing to say. Either way, I take a multivitamin every day and make sure to get enough fiber in my diet. Been doing it for 3 months, never felt better :)

I'm glad to see people taking Vit. D supplements, speaking as someone who sometime ago had an unmeasurable D level and who takes 20,000 iu a day now it's important.A look at the possible consequences of a less than ideal level and the amount of people in the temperate areas of the world who have low levels is enough to scare anyone.(just to point out that I'm quite unusual :p and taking 20,000 iu a day could eventually become harmful so don't do that unless a quack suggests it)

I use a digital supplement -- binaural beats (for brainwave synchronization). A brief dose of Theta induced via a auditory stimulation device and my brain's sodium/potassium ratio is reset within minutes!

Melatonin- My biological clock is messed up, too. I'm never tired without it. Isn't that odd?
Zinc- I'm allergic to the sun and have psoriasis, these are apparently symptoms of zinc deficiency, so I'm trying that out.

What is the scientific consensus on these? Have they ever been clinically tested? Are they better than placebo?

I take multi-vitamins every day and MSM. MSM is to build cartilage and increase the fluid in the joints. My hands don't hurt anymore! It also saved my dog'sd life because we were ready to put her down because she could hardly move. We put her on MSM and glucosimine (sp?) and she runs almost as if she were a puppy now. MSM started with race horses.
