sorry to those of you in the know about how OSX works but i'm curious.
i had assumed that when a video is selected to go full screen or a certain application (like DVD player) is in action the screensaver is suspended.
but if you watch a small video (say you tube) and ctrl-zoom the screen into it, it also prevents the screen saver. normally, just being zoomed in to the screen does not prevent it.
so what i'm thinking is that a certain amount of the screen area must be changing (like a video) to hold off the SS. is this right? seems sensible but maybe complex to achieve.
