People have mentioned that a lot are going to try and then return the AVP after 14 days. Given the price Apple might not be happy with the rental loophole especially given manufacturing limitations. So what if they charge a $500 restocking fee? Are you still going to get it? Do you think this we different return policy would be adopted by Apple?

I think it is an interesting question. It is not unusual for companies and retailers to set different terms of sales for different items. Some things get a 30 day return period traditionally and some can be as little as 7 days and on some items there are no returns.

Due to the nature of the limited amount of stock and extreme high cost would certainly warrant a change to help ensure only serious buyers will purchase.

No matter what, people will figure a way around until they update or change their terms again.

Only Apple knows what it will do. Don't think it is a major issue either way.

The bigger question: will Apple allow Apple Card users to extend payments over 12 months at 0% interest ??
