What if apple never invented the bumper?

Hi

I did wonder this I mean were would we be now if apple never "fancied getting into the case market" what argument would of steve jobs brought up against the attennagate of friday?

Was the bumper in place for something to fall back on if it went screw up?

Bring the iphone out with a problem no one knew about.
Fix it with a bumper but make a few quid if customer don't notice!
If they do dish them out for free!

I seriously do wonder thats what the bumper is for to fix the problem as friday if you toke that away we could of seen nothing more then on offer than a refund!

I am with this guy. They made the bumper just incase there was an outrage over the reception issue.

To find out what ideas of what people thought apples repose might be friday if the bumper never happend!

-How long would we of waited for apple to speak up
-would we been waiting months for that bumper to come out now
-or would they been a recall as no one thought of the bumper idea at all!

Hmmm. All good points. But pointless. What if the United States lost the Revolutionary War?
What if the Axis powers won WWII?
What if I got up at noon today instead of 7am?

None of those things happened. The speculation is just pointless.
 
What if we built a spaceship and fired ourself into that blue thing? so space is pointless to?

What if we dropped a large cap on the BP oil spill would it stop the leak!

I would not say its pointless its a fair question!

No. A fair question would, after reading this thread, be me asking you what's it like riding the short bus.
 
if you used one of these ? it would be a question! but a short bus?

Hmm id say it would be quicker to get off less of a walk to the exit!

Actually, no. I wasn't asking you the question directly, but stating what I would say in the question. Thus a question mark doesn't apply.
