What if Cricket gets 4G LTE?

Wouldn't that pretty much make it the best carrier out there?
 
Not all LTE is created equal. Cricket LTE speeds seems to be around the same, if not inferior to the HSPA+ speeds of AT&T and Tmobile.
 
Well that's odd. I've done speed tests and Cricket's 3G is faster than 3G of other networks, yet it's unlimited.

It might be faster than other CDMA networks such as Sprint or Verizon in some areas but it's technologically impossible for their 3G to be faster than the GSM networks.
 
Go look at speeds of MetroPCS's LTE network. It barely matches EVDO/AT&T HSPA. Cricket should be the same.
 
USA carriers are mostly behind the curve. There are other countries with better plans, and they're more of a powerhouse as well.
