is just the HSPA+ on AT&T. It would be just like the iPhone 4S; yes, it's a 4G iPad, but it's only 4G on AT&T. I could see Apple doing this. They consider AT&Ts HSPA+ 4G and Apple stated at the iPhone 4S ever that they don't really get into the whole "is it really 4G?" debate.

All of the sources have repeatedly said "LTE". I believe the radios we saw late last year were LTE-compatible.

Apple never stated that HSPA + was 4G

I know they didn't. I meant the marketing for AT&T calls it 4G. Apple said they don't get into the business of marketing 4G. Either way, I have a feeling we won't see LTE in the new iPad. That's just my guess though.
