Since if they change the screen size than they must show the new iPhone with it. why show ios6 without it..
And what will we all do if they don't show new MacBooks or anything new hardware and only ios6 and what if that is a big disapointment?

They don't need to announce the new screen size, just the new software features. The new screen size doesn't really relate to the software in any way.

If you mean what happens when you touch a button, that's true. If you talk about layout, you couldn't be further from the truth.

umm yeah, if the new iphone has a bigger screen then ios6 will only work on that phone. screen size is the determinant factor. all previous iphones will be confined to ios5. why do you think the android os works on all those different screen sizes...oh.. wait a minute...

That's if they do anything different with the layout.

Pretty sure Apple have waited until the hardware reveal to announce certain software features before anyway (EG: FaceTime at WWDC 2010).

No matter how big the screen will be there will already be at least three versions of ios6.

oh, thank you so much for that insight. Yep, they will be showing the new iphone.

Come on, you don't think the new IOS will work on the Iphone3 and the Iphone4 and Ipad 1 and the Ipad 2.

Sure wish people would think just a little before posting.

They'll show Ios6 on the big TV screen... Not the iphone 5.
IF they really want to hide it. But hopefully they'll surprise us with the iphone 5

Most likely this. They would present it on the big screen with the iPhone 4S.

Tim Cook could introduce the iPhone 5/6 as a "one more thing" to try and gain some of the popularity that Steve had :D

If even 1/10 of all the rumors (Retina MacBook Pros, Retina iMac, MacPro, Apple TV, 7" iPad, Siri on iPad, iOS6 and ...) come true he will have plenty of chances for "one more thing".

"One more thing" Tim is working hard to differentiate himself from Jobs so there probably won't be a Jobs' style "one more thing".

"one more, one more thing" in all likelihood the iPhone will continue on it's new fall launch schedule.
