Sure, shipping address and credit card number- but do we need an SSN or other info to verify our line on the carrier of choice? Sorry if this is a stupid question, I've never done this before and wish not to wake my father (the account owner of our ShareEverything, but not paying for my phone) at 12 to ask him what his social security number or other unexpected info Apple needs.

Usually unlocked versions aren't available at launch.

Sorry, I mean to say that the past few years the unlocked iPhone model isn't available at launch. Usually it becomes available 1 - 2 months later I believe.
