What iPhone 8 Plus should I buy for best resell value?

Hi! So, call me impatient or silly but I am looking to purchase an iPhone 8 Plus this week to tie me over until the iPhone X comes out which will be my permanent phone. I'm currently on android and looking to make the switch (have had iPhones previously). I want to know which iPhone 8 Plus would have the best resell value after the iPhone X comes out? I am completely fine taking some loss (and expect to) but, want to minimize that as much as I can. Thanks!

A carrier free one would definitely interest a lot more people.

The gold will encourage female buyers.

The higher storage options don't seem to hold their value, especially with the base model now being 64GB.

i can't speak for everyone but i've never bought a cheaper storage iphone. from my understanding, the cheaper storage sells out more and the higher storage premiums resells to a few hardcore fans. I tend to be lucky selling the latter. but yea, my input, 64 space gray.
